Practical Activities you can set up for students to play:
Time bingo (analogue clocks) use with non-permanent dry-erase pens
Clock sort – mix up the clocks and students sort clockwise the times from 1 o’ clock to 12 o’clock.
Children can play time snap – Print the larger clocks several times.
You can say a time and the children pick either the word card or the clock that matches that time.
Play clock dominoes (analogue/digital)– reinforce reading the time.
Resources are editable.

Cut and paste activity - each strip has trace over dotted numbers 1 to 10. You cut out the strip and glue into children’s workbook or onto a sheet of paper. Students trace over the dotted number, e.g. 3 and then cut out 3 bunnies and glue onto the strip and colour in. There is a separate cut out Easter bunny sheet.
Cut and paste activity - Easter Egg Build a Tower task - Children build towers of eggs above each number on the number track (1 to 10 number track).
Additional worksheets:
Worksheet 1 (3 pages): Students count the currants on each hot cross bun and write the number of currants counted in the blank space provided.
Worksheet 2 (1 page) Count and Add 1 More: Students count the number of hot cross buns and then draw 1 more and write the total in the column.

Activity 2 - 1 more up to 10 and then extends up to 20 - Children choose a name from Santa’s Good Children List to add 1 more to the various lists on the worksheets and then write the answer.
Extension - Add 2 names to the list to make 2 more and write the answer in the space provided.
Activity 3 - 1 less up to 10 ad then extends up to 20. This time children cross off children on the list so that it is 1 less and write the answer in the space provided.
Extension to 2 less - Children cross off 2 children’s name and then write the answer.
It’s a fun activity as children can read the names on Santa’s list and choose who they want on their list or they can cross off who they don’t want on their worksheet list.

This resource is on the theme of minibeasts. The teachers notes explain how each set of loop cards are used and how they are different. It is similar to other loop cards or follow me games but counting minibeasts and revising addition and subtraction.
A fun way to practise reading numbers and counting and reviewing addition and subtraction through listening and speaking. Student learn to read ‘I have’ and ‘Who has?’ to start the game.
The cards can be used in small group sessions or whole class sessions.
**Preparation: Laminate, print off and cut round coloured borders onto card paper. **

The borders are different colours so that the sets are not mixed up.

Calendar for back to school you can display in early years/KS1 classrooms.
This resource pack contains a blank weather, date and year display poster to be completed each day using the changeable days, date, month, weather card displays.
The words in shadow show where the laminated day, date, month and year should go.
There is space for the weather conditions on the same blank display.
The preview window shows how the display will appear when you complete the blank display poster.
You can also change the weather button background if you don’t want plain white - click on, e.g. the ‘hot’ weather button, go to Drawing Tools then Shape Fill to choose your colour.
Print off displays onto card paper - enlarge to A3 if wish for a larger display.

I have uploaded one set of A4 size numbers 0 to 20 to be laminated and displayed. You can enlarge if you wish.
Also included is a set of number formation activity sheets with direction arrows for children to practise writing numerals.
Aimed at EYFS/Year 1, EFL/ESL students
1. Children practise moulding dough on top of the numbers with dough/ plasticine.
2. Children practise writing inside the numbers with different colour drywipe pens.
3. Print out as many times as you like - children can draw pictures, count out objects to represent the number they are working on.
Opportunity to use as a teaching resource showing children how to form tricky numbers e.g. the number 8.
